This weekend Michael Jordan married his model fiance Yvette Prieto in a lavish ceremony in Palm Springs, Florida.
A few hundred of his family and closest friends (more than 2,000 people) attended, so to accommodate, they needed a 40,000 square foot venue! You can see all the details and photos here. Of course his entertainment included Grammy-Award winner Usher.
Some notable guests included Tiger Woods, Patrick Ewing, Spike Lee and Ahmad Rashad.
The coolest part was that Jordan didn’t want wedding gifts. Instead donations were made to the James R. Jordan Foundation in his honor. He also donated his wedding flowers to the Jupiter Medical Center.
Jordan and Prieto met five years ago and were engaged last December.
